Akiko Ogawa: Picture-Perfect Holonaut and Conceptual Thinker

We are fortunate enough to be in touch with Akiko Ogawa, “visionary artist, environmentalist, bootstrapping Hypergroove”, who initially very much impressed us as regards the depth of her insight into our work (of which more below).

‘Soul Supremacy’ — “Bring out the creative sovereignty in you, as you have the innermost power to align to your truest destiny” — Akiko Ogawa

But first, go check out Akiko’s amazing artwork (which we were kindly granted permission to use to illustrate this post; all rights remain with the artist) and you will begin to get a feeling for the depth of her passion, spirit and commitment to awakening our global consciousness through compelling images, visual narratives and symbols — a passion that manifests itself in some amazing art pieces as well as conceptual insights about achieving “glocal” good.

We are currently in talks with Akiko as regards our H2020 bid, exploring synergy with a view to a potentially mutually beneficial partnership.

Akiko, through her bootstrapped initiative, Hypergroove, aims to create on Holochain a platform that “supports the growth of an emerging regenerative paradigm and a sustainable, holistic food system” — areas we are passionate about as well.

As regards Akiko’s insights into our work, we felt the following “Comments” exchange was worth noting, as it really hits the nail on the head as regards the deep implications of the “causal NGI” we are building — and gives a further insight into Akiko’s mind, vision, outlook and work as well.

We hope this post will encourage more debate around this (and other) very important aspect(s) of what we are building together as a community in conjunction with Holochain.

Akiko commented on a section in one of our recent Medium articles that reads:

“What this means in practice is that with Decentr acting as an integrated user layer everything on this NGI is ‘relative’ (in the Einstenian sense); all interactions, communications, economic exchanges — everything.”

Akiko continued the analysis with the following profoundly incisive addition:

“Closing the causal loops of systems involves the convergence of the self into the system. Bohr and Einstein’s theory of relativity and the quanta can be applied to this theory of a causal user-interface that influences and affects the whole. Genius!”

Yeah, that is genius — on her part! To which we commented:

“Exactly right! A brilliant observation and something we will have to think about! Decentr is designed to fold the ‘self’ into our system as a (uni-)conscious, modulating influence that works in synchronicity with causality (and not against it, as all human-made, real-world systems are destined to do to maintain centralised control).”

Deep, huh? But this is not all lofty philosophical theory, as it actually starts to give us a better idea of how the game-theory we are developing to extract economic value contained in data and meta data through community consensus will function on Decentr.
